About Aaron and This Site

What’s your full name?
Aaron Berg Pratt

Berg?
Yes; Berg. It’s my mom’s maiden name. Don’t bother trying to enter it as one of my “forgotten password” answers, though. I never use it.

How old are you?
27.

Where are you from?
I’m originally from Hayward, Wisconsin, way up nort’. However, I now live in Marion, Indiana, as the title of this blog suggests.

Where’d you go to college?
I attended Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) in Marion, Indiana, and graduated in December 2004 with a degree in art.

Would you recommend IWU?
When I first went, it was a much smaller school. If I had to choose a school now, it wouldn’t be it because the university is different than it was when I first picked a college. If you’re interested in going there, I’d recommend doing a tour and seeing if it’s a good fit.

Are you Wesleyan?
Ha! No. I consider myself to be a postmodern, liberal Christian. Try comprehending that!

What do you do for a living?
I’m the founder of Pratt Web Design, a company provided web design, web hosting, and cosulting services for Grant County, Indiana and beyond.

Did you know that James Dean was born in Marion, Indiana?
Why, yes, I did. Incidentally, James Dean is pretty damn cool, probably way cooler than I will ever be.

Are you single?
Nope! I’m married to a very lovely, cute, adorable, sweet, funny girl named Heather. Yay us! And she writes for this blog, too!

Do you usually vote Republican or Democrat?
I usually vote blue, but try to do my research.

What’s your favorite song?

It varies from day to day, as does my favorite color. My favorite complementary color scheme is orange and blue, though.

Why did you create this site?
Well, I wanted to have a blog since everyone else did. And I want to have the opportunity to further my web design and Internet programming skills. Besides, I have some great stories about people in Marion, Indiana.

How does this site work?
This site runs on a dedicated server I lease. The blogging software I use is WordPress, a great open source program that is easy to set up and maintain.

I typed in marionindiana.net and came to this site! How’d that happen?
I own that domain name… and I own your mom.
