About Heather

What is your name?

Heather Nicole Pratt as of December 29, 2008.

What do you do for a living?

I am the Education/Disabilities Coordinator for Head Start.  It’s a fancy title that covers an array of things such as overseeing curriculum and teachers.  My office is right outside the classroom so it’s interesting some of the things I hear from preschoolers such as:

“Jesus  takes care of my salvation.”

“If I can’t marry you, who am I going to marry?”

“Ms. Heather! Look! Puma!” As he points to his shoes

Where are you from?

Let’s see….Rhode Islane, Washington, South Carolina, Mississippi, Indiana, Mississippi and then back to Indiana. But….I am thinking Mississippi is going to happen again soon.p>

Where did you go to college?

My first three years were spent at Indiana Wesleyan University.  But then I transferred to Belhaven College in Jackson, MS. Great City, Great People.p>

I am also currently attending University of Phoenix for my masters in Early Childhood and will be done in August 2008.  That way, I can have even a fancier title.

Why is your husband so awesome?

Because he lets me blog on his blog and brings me Polar Pops at work.

How old are you?

I am 27 years old.  3 years until 30.  13 years until 40.

What’s your favorite movie?

I love all types of movies.  However, the one that I always go back to is Beaches.  Good chick flick and great to watch when you are home in bed sick.

What’s your favorite TV show?

Sex and the City.

What is your favorite type of music?

I was once told I have the musical taste of a gay man with a love of musicals, Bette Midler, and Witney Houston. Right now, Legally Blonde the musical is on repeat on the ipod. Poor Aaron.
