The Five Love Languages

1. Quality Time
2. Receiving Gifts
3. Words of Affirmation
4. Acts of Service
5. Physical Touch
I took the love language test the other day and those were my results. For anyone who knows me, the results are predictable. I even asked Aaron what he thought my very last one on the list was and he guessed right- physical touch. I am just not a touchy-feely person at all. Most days my “Heather space” is more than arms length. There are even times when it is hard for me to hold hands with my fiance. I have a hard time dealing with people who do not know personal space or people who feel the need to touch the person they are talking to. I deal with people like this on a daily basis and believe me, it takes LOTS of patience.
Aaron took the test as well. His number one was physical touch.
That teaches me a lot of things. It shows me that I need to be more aware of Aaron when he wants to hold hands or hug. When he feels bad, I need to put myself aside and put him first. When he is sick, as he is now, I should baby him more rather than standing 10 feet from him asking him if he is okay…annoyed.
I wonder how he puts up with me….
you might receive a phone call gift from me tonight, if you keep your fingers crossed.
miss you.
