My boss bought a talking caller ID for the office, and after one day it is already annoying the crap out of me. Today the machine audibly notified us that we received calls from:
CELLULAR CALL
MARION GNRL HOS
GOFF REAL ESTA
OUT OF AREA
And of course, it doesn’t just say the name once. It repeats it over and [...]

I walked down the Circle K to get some snacks this evening, and they have a new sign up in the window that says, “PLEASE REMOVE YOUR SKI MASK BEFORE ENTERING.”
I began imagining possible situations that would lead to management putting up that sign, and I became a little bit scared.
